In a little over a month, we’ll be moving from the home the boy and I have shared for the last year. Before that, we shared a smaller place only a few miles away. And before that? We were pretty much inseparable for our four years of college. This time, however, we won’t be moving together, but to different cities along the eastern coast – he’ll stay in Boston, I’ll go to NYC. It’s bittersweet – new and different to conquer the world apart, sad and weird to not see one another everyday – but, it’s exciting, too. It’s a new adventure in our lives, and a time to fully delve into our respective graduate programs, while still maintaining the supportive backbone of our relationship. Exciting to have two new cities to endlessly explore. Exciting to rediscover those parts of ourselves and our interests that drew us to one another in the first place. Exciting to have the confidence that we can do this. Exciting to support each other in following our dreams, even if that means being apart for a little while.
Here’s to transitions, new experiences, and following your heart.
Here’s to doing it together.
Definitely going to rack up some travelling points for all the trips we’ll make in between!
(Here’s to a fantastic Friday and weekend, too!)

Wishing you the best of luck with your moves. Distance makes the heart grow fonder
